About Us
The Great Northern Festival is organised by the Great Northern Festival AV Group.
We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU).
The Great Northern Festival is a weekend of Audio Visual Entertainment, Competition, Learning and Socialising.
It is open to all Audio Visual enthusiasts who wish to attend for the whole weekend or just a single day.
The Competition is split into the main Great Northern Competition, open to all authors and the New Horizons Competition which has a restricted entry, to encourage less experienced authors.
There is also plenty of time to socialise with like minded fellow AV enthusiasts and to catch up on all the latest news or obtain help and advice.
